Uncover the art of refined flavor with this truffle-accented tart where creamy goat cheese meets sweet apple and savory prosciutto. Each bite offers layers of indulgence, designed to dazzle your senses and elevate your dining experience to a restaurant-worthy affair.
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a tart pan. Prick the bottom with a fork and chill for 15 minutes.
Step 2: Thinly slice the apples and set aside. Finely chop the shallots and sauté in butter until translucent. Mix in honey and fresh thyme, and remove from heat.
Step 3: Spread goat cheese over the chilled tart crust. Arrange apple slices in an overlapping pattern. Spread the shallot mixture evenly over the apples.
Step 4: Slice black truffle thinly and layer over apples. Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the crust is golden.
Step 5: During the last 10 minutes, lay prosciutto on a separate baking sheet and crisp in the oven. Allow to cool, then break into pieces.
Step 6: Once the tart is baked, garnish with crispy prosciutto, slice, and serve.
